Please call CO governor to ask for pardon for mom jailed for refusing to send sons to family therapy with ex-cop charged with raping her daughter

This story is one of the worst things I’ve read in a while. The lead boils it down to its essence:

A retired Aurora police sergeant faces criminal charges for raping his daughter and continually sexually assaulting her and his two adopted daughters, but he remains free from custody while his ex-wife is in jail for objecting to court-ordered reunification therapy meant to repair his relationship with two of his sons.

Each subsequent paragraph in the story paints a more horrifying picture.

If this troubles you, please call Colorado governor Jared Polis today and demand that he use his powers of clemency and pardon to get Rachel Pickrel-Hawkins out of jail and to publicly censure the judge who put her there. This is an absolute horror and he cannot stand by in silence. You can call him at (303) 866-2471.
