Two panels of a zine.

Panel One:

First caption reads: "When you see the Trump regime do horrible things, do you ever yell..." Then you see a drawing of a frustrated/angry person throwing up their hands and yelling "SHUT IT ALL DOWN!" Second caption reads: "Me too!"

Panel Two:

Text: That's why you and I are joining MAY DAY STRONG!

Image is a photo of people at a demonstration raising their fists, which have been outlined with heavy white line with power sparks coming off of them. Above that image is the Rosie the Riveter word balloon reading "We Can Do It!" Beneath that are the words: "On May 1, 2026!

Special thanks to Indivisible Brooklyn for the inspiration and feedback, and high five to Julie Peppito for the gorgeous protest art seen in the photo on page 4 of the zine!

FIND YOUR ORGANIZING HOME IN NYC Image features a photo of buttons reading "Fight Fascism," "¡Manos fuera NYC!" and "Working Families Party"

A few thank yous: Huge thanks to the Manhattan No Kings protestor who let me photograph them with their “Action Absorbs Anxiety” signs. I think about that sign all the time! High five to Julie Peppito, who designed the “Fight Fascism” button in the photo on the cover of the zine. And many thanks to Mariame Kaba and Megan Pointkowski, whose work and advocacy with zines made the idea of diving in so much easier. Even more massive hearts and credit to Mariame Kaba for so much of my thinking about organizing, especially for the concept of “pick your lane.” Big thanks to Indivisible and Ash-Lee Woodard Henderson — I’m pretty sure I first heard the injunction “find your organizing home” during an Indivisible call led by Henderson. And huge high five to the members of Comix Action and Indivisible Brooklyn and other activist friends who gave me feedback as I worked on this thing!
