I’ve just gotten confirmation from Ezra Levin of Indivisible that he’s hearing that some Democratic US Senators are trying to cut a deal with Trump that would end the shutdown WITHOUT any guarantee of ACA funding. They would just get a promise of a future vote on ACA funding.
A promise from Trump and Republicans in the Senate is worth exactly nothing. So Levin’s (and my) assessment is that these senators would be cutting this deal for nothing.
