2025-12-08 – Freedom to Read Act Read-In – NYC

From Authors Against Book Bans:

AABB NY has partnered with PEN, ABA, the Teen Activist Project, and NYCLU to mount a press conference/public action  at Union Sq on Monday, December 8th at 4pm. This is to urge Governor Hochul to sign the Freedom to Read Act (S.1099/A.7777). The bill is sitting unsigned on her desk.
