Page 4. Go to a rally or protest! Sign up for an ICE watch training! Volunteer for a mutual aid group! Check out a City Council meeting! Canvass for a candidate you like! Heck, fold some zines! There's something for everyone, no matter what your interests, experience, or comfort level--and plenty of orgs eager to welcome you. Any one of those groups could become your ORGANIZING HOME--a place where you're inspired by likeminded comrades to keep doing awesome things! So how do we get started? 1. VISIT MOBILIZE.US Go to "filters," fill in your location under "near," hit "apply filters," and boom! You'll see a ton of groups and events in your area!

Page 8 4. Remember unions, libraries, and local electeds! Your union might be doing great work and libraries can always use volunteers. You can also find your electeds at reps.fyi, sign up for their newsletters, show up for their meetings, and potentially have a big impact! NYC also has many Democratic clubs that may be more progressive than the party itself and could be great organizing homes. 5. Make your own group??? Hyperlocal organizing with just a few neighbors can be incredibly effective! Visit nokings.org/rise for great resources for starting a local group! 6. Remember you're not alone Don't worry about doing everything. No one of us can fix all the problems of the world alone. Pace yourself and don't burn out! High five to Julie Peppito, who designed the “Fight Fascism” button in the photo on the cover of the zine.
