Page 1: text reads "WHAT IF YOU SEE ICE AT THE POLLS? (Don't worry! Read on for the plan!)" Image shows pen and ink drawings of an ICE agent peeking around one side of the word ICE and a determined looking person holding up a cell phone as if to record peering around the other side.

ZINE: What If You See ICE at the Polls?

Indivisible roped me in to design and illustrate a new zine! Check it out below -- and visit linktr.ee/wewillvote to sign up for the Election Protection Program and find all the resources you need!

You can also download the zine to print and distribute yourself right here! (Be sure to print at "Scale: 100%")

The administration and its allies have refused to rule out sending ICE and federal agents to polling places this fall. But it's illegal! Federal law bans armed agents at the polls, period!

Vote early, protect the vote, and defend the 2026 election so voters' choices are respected." Graphic reads "Indivisible / Hands Off Our Vote"

Vote early... and know your rights! Confirm your registration right now at vote.org! You have a First Amendment right to film law enforcement in public spaces as long as you don't interfere or block their path.

Pages 4/5. Text reads:

Vote early... and know your rights!

* Confirm your registration now at vote.org
* Bring someone with you when you vote.
* Bring your ID, even if your state doesn't require it.
* Turn off FaceID on your phone for added safety.

You have a First Amendment right to film law enforcement in public spaces as long as you don't interfere or block their path.

* Follow state or local laws about activity near polling locations.
* Keep back 8 feet and do not obstruct. If a cop orders you to move, follow that order.
* Get images of badges/identification.
* Capture context and details -- location, street signs, time, etc.
* Share footage with election protection programs ASAP.

Drawings show a woman holding up her ID with a bunch of other votes behind her, a person on a laptop with a sticker saying "I WILL VOTE" and a vigilant person on a cellphone wearing a t-shirt reading "HANDS OFF!"

If you're stopped by law enforcement...

Pages 6/7. Text reads:

If you're stopped by law enforcement...

* Prioritize staying safe. Remain calm, don't resist. Keep your hands visible.
* Document everything. Record on your phone or ask a bystander to do it.
* Get the agent's badge number, name, and their agency.
* If detained, ask for a lawyer, remain silent, and do not sign anything.
* To invoke your rights, say "I want to remain silent" and "I want to speak with a lawyer."
* The Constitution protects your rights no matter your immigration status.

This is educational only, not legal advice. If you need legal advice, consult an attorney. Our core principle is a commitment to nonviolent action. Work to de-escalate any confrontations with those who disagree, and act lawfully at all times.

Art shows a person holding up his hands saying "Am I free to go?" and "I do not consent to a search." People behind him recording with cell phones.
